At Summer's End

The sound of rain makes the listless bodies
Form molds under the covers in their beds.
Tis' truly begun, the season of rain,
And the summer has away gone.

Wake up, lazy head, and greet the morning sun
As it peeks through passing clouds.
The day is new and the world is, too,
Let's march while the day is young!
